The 2009 Summer Intensive, May 21 - August 15, 2009, is a unique, full-time, 3-month curriculum in drawing and painting the human figure from life.

Anyone may apply. There are no academic or other pre-requisites.

The 2009 summer course is entitled "Re-forming the Elements of Figurative Art". It offers a 12-week schedule of daily drawing and painting from life, with a one-week break in the middle, June 26 - July 4, 2009.

The class will accept a maximum of 12 students, plus 2 alternates in case of cancellations.

The 2009 Summer Intensive will be team-taught by the artists Timothy Stotz and Nicole Michelle Tully.

The daily work schedule is 6 hours of life-model, 5 days a week. Figure poses will vary in length between 10 minutes and two weeks (50+ hrs.), depending on the principles being discussed and taught.

Full-time faculty will occasionally work alongside students as fellow artists, producing both drawings and paintings.
